At Writers in Schools South West CIC (WISSW CIC), we are dedicated to ensuring that young people across the South West have access to high-quality creative writing experiences. To expand our impact, we are launching a pilot project in 2025 to secure grant funding that will support professional writers delivering workshops and mentorship programs in schools.

Why This Matters

Creative writing fosters critical thinking, confidence, and communication skills, yet many schools lack the resources to offer dedicated writing programs. By securing grant funding, we can:
