About Writers in Schools South West

We are a nonprofit organisation founded by experienced educators who are dedicated to improving the creative opportunities of students and staff in the South West.

What we do

We empower educators to facilitate creative literacy projects in schools by providing a database of writers to connect with and the funding to make creative projects happen.

We work in schools in the South West of England with local writers who can enhance your students' creative literacy through workshops, talks and projects hosted in your school.
